The Ocean Gardener Program is designed for individuals aged 7 to 77 who can swim. Participants will work alongside experienced marine biologists to learn about coral biology, life cycles, reproduction, and restoration techniques. The activity includes guided tours of coral nurseries, restored reefs, and natural reefs, as well as hands-on activities like coral planting and snorkeling at artificial reefs.

This program is ideal for those interested in sustainable tourism and making a tangible impact on ocean conservation. By participating, you’ll help rehabilitate damaged reefs and support marine biodiversity while enjoying some of the clearest waters in Southeast Asia.

1. Educational Component

• Presentation on Coral Biology : Learn about coral life cycles, genus, and reproduction through a 30-minute session.
• Guided Tour by Marine Biologist : Explore coral nurseries, restored reefs, and natural reefs under expert guidance.
• Course on Coral Biology : Deepen your understanding of marine ecosystems during a 30–60-minute lecture.

2. Hands-On Conservation Activities

• Coral Farm Tour : Visit coral farms to see how corals are grown and maintained.
• Coral Planting : Participate in planting two pieces of coral fragments (30 minutes).
• Snorkeling Tour of Artificial Reefs : Explore artificial reefs created for reef restoration (60 minutes).

3. Donation for Reef Restoration

• Contribute to the Ocean Gardener’s reef restoration project, supporting long-term conservation efforts.

4. Accessibility

• Suitable for individuals aged 7 to 77 who can swim.
• No sunscreen allowed during dives to protect marine life.

5. Equipment Provided

• Coconut and mineral water
• Towels, booties, mask, snorkel, rash guards

⏰ Duration

The approximate total time for the activity is 3–4 hours , including:

• Briefing and gear-up
• Two guided dives
• Lunch (if applicable)
• Debrief and certificate issuance

💸 Pricing Structure

The pricing for the Ocean Gardener Program varies based on the number of participants. Here’s the breakdown:

Children Pricing

• For children, the prices are slightly lower:
  • 2 Pax: IDR 650,000
  • 4 Pax: IDR 555,000
  • 6 Pax: IDR 500,000

🚫 What’s Not Included

• Transport to and from the dive site
• Dive insurance
• Dive computer rental (IDR 100,000/day)
• Enriched air Nitrox fills (IDR 150,000/tank)

All payments for the Ocean Gardener Program must be made through the following methods:

• Credit card (with a 3% surcharge)
• PayPal (with a 5% surcharge in USD)

Exchange rates are subject to the rate provided by Bank Mandiri on the day of payment.

📋 Terms and Conditions

• Minimum group size: 2 participants
• Cancellations within 14 days of the activity incur a 100% charge.
• No-shows will be charged the full amount.
• In case of early check-out, guests will be charged for remaining nights booked.
• Natural disasters or civil disruptions may result in cancellations without refunds.
